What is Interfaith?
Interfaith honors the universal Truth of all wisdom traditions and world religions. It is the belief that, while pathways to and names for the Divine are many, Truth is One. Interfaith is not a new religion and does not advocate the blending of all religions into one. It honors that the Divine speaks to each individual in the manner which has meaning to him or her. At the heart of Interfaith and at the heart of all the world's wisdom traditions is Unconditional Love.
Spirituality - A Connection to the Past – It connects the past to the present. Connection to ancestors, beliefs, and practices all guide the present. This school of thought says actions of today are based on lessons learned from the past. Therefore, spirituality is unique to each.
Religion - A Connection to a Higher Power – Religion is a connection to a higher power or entity. Communities of faith worship in a very structured, regimented way. The means of worship is the same for everyone in the congregation.
No Difference Between the Two – There are some who believe spirituality and religion are one in the same. Many people use the term "spirituality" to avoid the stigma and prejudices that sometimes emerge in organized religions.
Wellness is harmony in body, mind and spirit. Wellness is a choice. A physical disability is irrelevant to a person’s state of wellness.
We invite you to explore the programs and services that we provide and ask that you please make others aware of what we have to offer. The intent of our mission is to foster and allow spiritual growth into your life through our various programs and community outreach efforts.
